A professional musician, I have concertized and taught in universities across Canada, the US, Europe and China for fifty years. My personal interest in the visual arts was initially in collecting. In retirement I began painting with alcohol inks and acrylics on paper, wood and canvas. Largely self-motivated, I use brushes, palette knife and whatever tools are handy.
