Kim Hughson - Artist
Kim began exploring art in 1994 after retiring from a teaching career. She has worked in watercolour, pastel and acrylic. Her paintings have been exhibited in numerous shows: St Paul's Show, London On., Lambeth Art Association Shows, Paint Ontario 2012 in Grand Bend, STEPAC In View of the Artist 2017, Art with Panache Gallery London ON., Westland Gallery, London ON., Fringe Gallery London ON., and the Port Stanley Artists' Guild Shows of which she is an active member. She is also a member of the St Thomas Artists' Guild. Some of her paintings are in private collections in Ontario as well as Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Kim feels that art evokes our emotions. We are all enriched in the process of creating and enjoying art. Art is much more valuable to the human spirit than it is to the material world.
