As an avid naturalists, my inspirations come from the flora and fauna I see every day while hiking near home or traveling to unique areas of our planet.  With a diverse educational background in the Visual Arts and Religion/Native and Women Studies I will often go off on tangents.   My paintings may deal with environmental, religious or cultural and social issues.  The medium I use may be as varied as the subject.   Presently I am combining my Photography skills with Painting and the subject is mostly birds. With the variety in their colour, shapes and behaviour I have an endless source of inspiration.
